1 and 7
A poster on a message group I subscribe to put forth this question this evening.
"OK, I have a question: The Bible says the time will come when 7 women will take hold of one man. This is clearly plural marriage being taught be the Bible itself. Will someone please explain to me how this principle works in the light that the LDS Church clearly doesn't teach this anymore."
After reading it, spirit opened up to me and I gave the answer, to which I feel came directly from the source, Jesus himself.
In the time pre-ceeding the changes in the earth, and the return of Christ, the "male - patriarchal" system and powers that have held people under control for so many years will begin to fall apart as Love covers the earth.
When the prophet spoke of 7 women taking hold onto one man, remember not only was language simpler in speech in those days but it has been grossly mistranslated.
It in that scripture, God/Love meant that the feminine side of things would be seven times greater than the male side. This to make up for all the masculine energy that has been in place for 1000s of years. The female side being the compassionate / creation / intuitive side of God / man. And in this sense will show that men will become much more enlightened, creative, and intuitive.
Those who have taken it literally as men being with 7 women, have missed the mark, and instead of the sword of truth, have been following their "short sword" this saith the Lord.
