Ok Im not really dead
In class yesterday we did a "brain" excercise where we had to draw with closed eyes on paper, then in our designs try to find at least 3 animals, and then write a poem about it. I ended up finding a Cobra (Asp), Elephant, and Dove. Ok so here's the poem already everyone seemed to like it.
'do not fear'
Alone, the giant sleeps
calm in the bush
unaware of the serpent's tail,
that did sneakingly swoosh.
But soon, the anger of the asp
that snuck through the grass,
shall awaken the slumber and slunk
of the elephant's trunk.
He stampedes and he sneers
at the hiss from his rear
But he is too large, to just disappear...
Then from above,
a flutter he hears.
To be quickly calmed,
by the coo of a dove,
at his ear.
Whispering softly to the giant,
"There is nothing to fear."
The End
So what's the poem say to you. Reminds me of going through life feeling nothing is wrong, when suddently out of nowhere something disturbs you, almost as if violently, and when you panic and think you have no where to turn, that reserve silence, spiritual or emotional kicks in and tells you, you will be ok, and if it was not for the experience you may not have noticed the dove at all if you remained asleep.
